Naturopathic Medicine

  Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto

At MP Herbal Clinic our resident naturopaths utilizes a system that uses natural remedies to help the body heal itself. It embraces many therapies, including herbs, massage, acupuncture, exercise, and nutritional counselling.

The goal of naturopathic medicine is to treat the whole person by targeting the root causes of an illness and not just stopping the symptoms.

Your first appointment can last anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half. Our naturopath will take you through an extensive interview about your health history, family history, current diet and lifestyle, as well as any current health records and testing that relates to the present condition or main complaint that has brought you to the clinic.

We may request additional testing, which is often carried out during the first appointment. The most common tests include blood and urine tests. Then the Naturopathic Doctor will further discuss goals, a treatment plan, home-care, supplements, and/or any additional information you may need.
